Our shipping and handling fee covers
the cost of postage and packaging. We
ship charts in protective plastic sleeves in order that you receive them
in excellent condition. The shipping and
handling fee may exceed the actual postage amount.
Shipping and handling fees and
insurance (additional if selected) will be
calculated and displayed in the shopping cart after you have selected the
shipping destination.
Our rates and shipping methods are
described below.
USA and Canada
We use the United States Postal Service
(U.S.P.S) as our preferred postal carrier.
All orders will be
shipped using First Class mail.

Insurance: If you choose your
order to be shipped without insurance, then you take full responsibility
in the event that the package is lost or damaged in the mail. We are not
obliged to resend the package nor refund your order unless the
insurance option is selected.

International customers please note that
the shipping costs quoted in your order are for packages weighing approx 1
- 2 lbs. If heavier items are ordered (eg needlework frames,
multiple kits, floss-a-way bags and some heavier charts etc) additional
shipping charges will apply. In those cases we will charge
actual shipping costs. We will notify you if the shipping rate will
be different to that displayed in the cart.
All packages are sent via Airmail unless
requested otherwise. Once the package has left here we are unable to
control the speed of delivery. Many times packages will arrive in
Europe and many other overseas destinations within a week to 10 days. Packages
can also take longer (3 weeks or more) and it is for this reason that we
are unable to send a replacement package (for insured orders) until the insurance claim is processed (we are required to wait 45 days before filing a claim, and processing typically takes a further 2-3 weeks).
Insurance: If you choose your

Insurance is not available to all
countries. The following countries are excluded:
Abkhazia, Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola (including Cabinda), Bangladesh, Barbados, Benin, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burma, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Chechnia, Congo, Cuba, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea - Bissau, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kenya, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, truck/rail shipments to and within Mexico other than as a connecting conveyance, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Papua/New Guinea, Paraguay, Qatar, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, Somalia, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Venezuela, and Yemen.
For shipments to Russian and other Commonwealth of Independent States countries (includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan) coverage ceases upon touchdown of the aircraft at the airport of destination or upon discharge from the overseas vessel at the destination discharge.
If insurance is not available to your country we are not able to offer
insurance on your order, and you will not be charged insurance.
Customs and Other Charges
International customers are
advised to check with their local customs agencies to determine if any
additional customs charges, duties or taxes apply to the shipment within
their country. ABC Stitch Therapy is not responsible for any of these
additional costs.
Returns Policy
Unfortunately due to copyright
restriction, charts cannot be returned. Please make your selections
carefully.
We are also not able to accept returns on
opened packages of beads or kits unless the kit is missing an item which
should have been included by the manufacturer. Unless goods are faulty, we
can only accept returns where the packaging of beads and kits has not been
opened.
Floss and fibers are also not accepted
for returns. Please make your selections carefully.
If
you are not satisfied with any other goods supplied, you may return them
within 30 days for a refund. All returns must be in a condition
suitable for resale. There is a 15% restocking fee on returned items and
shipping costs are nonrefundable. If an item is
returned for exchange - additional shipping will be charged on the new
item being sent.
Please contact us first to obtain instructions
and a returns number allocated. This will ensure a speedier
return/refund/credit process and will avoid packages arriving in store
without sufficient information.
